I always get invited to all the awesome parties. Invitations come from the girl next door having a chic soiree, the lawyer celebrating by having a black tie affair, or the cool kid on the block with the biggest petting zoo. This party was extra special though. Julie was celebrating her 84th birthday. Her family surprised her with a backyard brunch complete with delicious food and entertaining musicians. I was happily there to document the day. Julie’s daughter and granddaughter told me that she never liked having her picture taken. Well I must have had the magic touch. She posed happily with the smallest smile upon her lips. Before I left she thanked me for being so sweet and patient with her and her family. Happy Birthday Julie!
Sahana’s first birthday party was quite the event! It took place in beautiful San Francisco on the 19th floor of the Avalon building. With beautiful clear skies not only was that a site to see but also all the details of the party as well.

I had the pleasure of covering the American Heart Association , Los Gatos chapter, event a few days ago. The event took place at Azadeh Couture in the heart of downtown Los Gatos. All the attendees wore red and there was champagne and a fashion show. Azadeh’s designs are amazing and the ladies of the American Heart Association are working with a great organization. Every purchase that was made during the event, Azadeh donated 5% to the American Heart Association. Check out the fun from the evening.
