Chino & Craig - Los Angeles - Two Day Cultural Wedding
What are the chances that a speech therapist and a psychotherapist in Brooklyn find a wedding photographer in California? Well, not likely but the three of us found each other, and I am so glad we did! What I encountered on this two day celebration was everything a meshing of families should be! Cultural & Religious ceremonies galore, lots of laughs, tears (the good kind of course), family and love was all this wedding was. Chino hailing from Nigerian roots and Craig who is Jewish planned a two day wedding that surely goes down in my books as best wedding ever.
The first day of the celebrations started at Chino’s parents home in Los Angeles. A room full of both male family members held a Nigerian dowry ritual (which I was lucky enough to photograph). Then Chino had to find Craig her husband to be amongst the guest. The first day was full of rituals, music and dancing.

The second day of the celebrations took place in Burbank, CA at The Castaway Restaurant. The Castaway sits atop a hill and the views are just breathtaking, I can see why they decided on this venue. The second day can be considered a little more traditional. They held a Christian/Jewish ceremony to recognize both of their faiths. After the ceremony the bride & groom had their photos taken with everyone, yes everyone! I think its a great idea to break your friends (and families) into groups to get amazing photographs while everyone is looking their best! After that, the reception started off with a BANG!
