If you had no idea how I decided on my business name, this next session will give you a little insight to the name, Urban Shutter Bug Photography. When I decided on business names I wanted something that would embody beautiful subjects in urban locations. When I first chatted with Carl and Kristy they wanted a more downtown urban feel for their engagement session. So that’s just what I gave them.
Carl, Kristy and I explored downtown San Jose. We explored nooks and crannies, busy streets, and parking lots. I am very happy with how their session came out. It screams Urban Shutter Bug Photography!
They met twelve years ago in college and Kristy explains that she stalked Carl until she caught his eye. Fast forward to the proposal where Carl took a more practical move and presentented Kristy with a convertible instead of a ring (she later received one of those too). I enjoyed learning so much about these two love birds. Enough with the words, on to the photos!
These two were so much fun! We started at Santana Row, then headed downtown to shoot some more! Check out their engagement session!
I must say I have been meeting a lot of thoughtful, creative men who are proposing this year. Patrick schedule his engagement session with me, before he even proposed to Emily! Enough with the words, on the the engagement session.
These two met in med school and plan on getting married next year.
Congrats on your engagement you two! I can’t wait to hear about the wedding plans.
Iris & Randy are a laid back couple who is totally in love. Though they argued a bit about the number of years they’ve REALLY REALLY been together (seems like 8 to me lol) you can tell they complement each other nicely and I can’t wait to document their wedding in Lake Tahoe in July.
Iris & Randy decided to have their engagement session taken outdoors in San Francisco because well they love nature and they love San Francisco. We started at China Beach then headed over to Lands End.
one of my favorites from the session.
