Meeting at work, sparked a romance that has been tested by distance and time. Frank joined the air force early within the relationship that sent him miles away. As soon as he was stationed Simone packed up and moved to be with her love in Washington. These two joined their families and friends at Palmdale Estates in Fremont, CA to exchange vows. Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day! Enjoy!
This quiet couple met nine years ago in their high school English class. Daniel noticed Leticia first and Leticia responded by nervously smiling. They will finally be tying the knot in beautiful Lake Tahoe in August and I can’t wait to document their wedding day. We met at one of their favorite places, in front of the AT&T park because they are huge Giant’s fans. We then moved to Crissy Fields and ended our session with some fun shots in front of the Golden Gate Bridge.
On May 18, I took an hour drive outside of the bay area, past windmills and rolling hills to Oakley, CA. Pulling up to the lush and intimate Brownstone Gardens, I couldn’t wait to start documenting Abel & Lettie’s wedding day. I was welcomed by a smiling and calm bride which let me know just how amazing this day was going to be! The garden setting where these two exchanged vows could not have been more perfect. I’ll stop rambling and let the photography tell the story! Enjoy!
Gail is the shopaholic, Reggie the grillmaster, Raven the enviornmentalist and Regis the aspiring football player, together they are the Bridges. We met at Lake Temescal in Oakland and instead of hot summer temperatures we were met with overcast skies (best possible light in my opinion) and cold breeze. It was a blast getting to know the dynamics of their family and I hope to see them again soon!
Many moms-to-be never consider maternity sessions. They aren’t confident in the way they look, they’re uncomfortable and do not want to remember themselves with a belly bump. I would highly reccommend it, its a beautiful time in a woman’s life that should be documented.
Ruby is gorgeous and she was glowing the entire time! Next month she will have a beautiful baby boy in her arms. I spent a majority of the session laughing with Ruby & Luis about what they do for fun together, and how Ruby only wants to eat french fries.

I absolutly adored this little guy! I wish I could take him home and photograph him constantly. Martin is a little over a month old. He stayed up almost the entire time and made the cutest little faces! We did a few outfit changes (pay attention to the in home rivalry between mom and dad), hopefully when Martin grows up he’ll choose the right team :)
I hope to see him again real soon!
I love when I meet clients and they have accents (I ask lots of questions so I can keep them talking!). Stephanie moved from Germany thirteen years ago and I met up with her and her son Christopher last week. Christopher was shy at first, but after talking about video games and making strange sounds with our mouths we became good friends :)
We wandered around Elizabeth Gamble Gardens in Palo Alto and I love the connection I caught between Christopher and his mom. Here are my favorites!
These two love birds met a few years back while in law school. Carmen said she first noticed Thomas when he walked into class late. Thomas said he first noticed Carmen when he asked to borrow her notes :)
We met at Shoreline Harbor Park in Oakland on a clear, but windy day. The San Francisco skyline added extra coolness to this engagement session. The wind was just too much so we headed to Jack London Square for an outfit and location change.
Carmen & Thomas are getting married next year in Bodega Bay and I can’t wait to hear all about the details!
