Everyone has their analogies about how life and love works. Some compare it to a movie, or a book or even photography. But Jason, Jason compares life and love to sports, basketball in particular. Jason has found his teammate or MVP,Erika. You have to say, it is a sweet reference.
Erika & Jason are getting married in September and I can’t wait for their wedding. Just seeing the two of them together, I know their wedding is going to be full of fun and laughs. We met at Crissy Fields and spent the first half of the session getting to know each other, we kept it casual while we moved up and down the court, I mean the beach.
We did a quick outfit change during half-time and headed over to the Palace of Fine Arts. I had so much fun with the two of them, here are a few of my favorites.

Erika and Jason I can’t wait for the championship ring ceremony, I mean your wedding! See you soon :)
Charles & Jenny have been married for 10 years! What better way to celebrate than to get some photos taken together! I met the two of them in San Francisco at the Legion of Honor and then we moved down to the beach! These two are very much in love, even ten years later :)

Isn’t Jenny gorgeous?

Jenny says Charles looks better now, than he did 10 years ago :)

Congrats you two!! Here’s to many more years of marriage!
Kris & Kumiko’s wedding portraits were so much fun to shoot! They decided on Villa Montalvo as their location and I am so happy that they did. Here are a few from their session. Enjoy!

Iris and Randy’s wedding location may have been the most beautiful I have seen to date. Nestled in between tall redwood tress at Skylandia park in Lake Tahoe overlooking the lake was breathtaking! Not only were they surrounded by the amazing views they were also embraced by family and friends. Here are just a handful (I wanted to post so many!) of images from their wedding day!

Where can I start? Devon & Fred’s wedding in one word: enjoyable. I felt like I was a guest and I just happened to bring my camera and document their wedding day. Their wedding was Saturday June 4 and I am mentioning the date because it was RAINING (rain in June, in California, really?!) But they say rain on a wedding day is good luck! Devon & Fred’s wedding was honestly filled with love, family and friends who genuinely cared about the two of them and wanted to make them feel special all day. Here are just a few shots of how awesome their day was!

Some of the best speeches I ever heard happened at this wedding.

Devon’s mom telling Fred “I love you regardless of what your family was telling me”

Devon’s dad was hilarious. He claimed not to be her father, but a plumber who came to the house to fix a broken pipe. He then happened to find her “dad’s” suit and it fit perfectly so he decided to stay for the wedding.

That’s right, Fred jumped in the pool after all the festivities were done and the sky cleared for a few seconds.

Congrats Fred & Devon!
I recently was a second shooter for Moments by Ashley . She was covering the wedding of Ashley & Ian and they requested to have a second shooter. Their wedding took place in Dublin at the Shannon Community Center. I got to hang out with the guys (who were tons of fun might I add) while Ashley attended to Ashley and her bridesmaids.
So what’s the big deal with having two photographers on your wedding day? Think of it as having two sets of eyes documenting your wedding day. Its a great way to not over work your main photographer and have them bounce from location to location. You can get two different viewpoints because you have two different photographers. So when you’re planning your wedding take into consideration the importance of hiring a second shooter.
Since I was the second shooter for this wedding, I got to handle everything at the venue prior to the start of the ceremony. I was there to be a second set of eyes as well as capture details that Ashley may be too busy to capture. So here’s my set of images from the wedding, I can’t wait to see what Moments by Ashley captured! Enjoy!

Congrats Ashley & Ian!
I met Carlos & Nora 3 weeks before their wedding! They were sent my way by a past bride and I was so happy to be their wedding photographer. Their wedding happened to be the same day as my birthday (and they were the first wedding of the season!), so I was happy to spend that special day with them! Here are a few moments from their day. Enjoy!

Their ceremony was in Spanish, and while I can understand it more than I can speak it, I did pick up a few pieces here and there.

These two were smiling because the pastor was reminding Carlos that he had to put Nora first and make her feel important.

I love when couples plan to have some extra time between their ceremony and reception. It gives them a chance to soak up the fact that they are MARRIED! And also get some great pictures too!

Congratulations you two!
